Gabi never would have thought that she would be sitting alone reading...this. But there she was, curled up in a chair with a law book in her lap. The enchanted windows that were situated on one wall supplied her with artificial light (seeing as sunlight never really would make it's way into the dungeons unless the rest of castle disappeared from above them) and made her feel more comfortable.
She was so involved in her reading that she didn't even notice some one approaching her until they were only a couple of feet away.
ooc: Crappy, but that's ok. XD Any Slytherins?
"Have you seen a red bag around here?"
Adam folded his arms under his black knitted sweater and waited for the bookie to answer.
Gabi looked up slowly and blinked before his question registered.
"No, I haven't," she said with a small shake of her head.
She looked familiar.
Wasn't there a rumour going around about her?
Something with Draco?
Adam was about to respond with a "thank you", but dropped his arms and questioned.
"Gabi is it? I haven't seen you in ages," he smiled, "how are you?"
"That's right," she replied, matching his smile. "I'm doing just fine. And yourself?"
Gabi kept her finger on the page she had been reading and closed the cover.
"Ah, yeah" he jumped his shoulders up, "same old, same old."
They smile and nodded at one another awkwardly.
"Em-right. Sorry for the bother, I need to run. Pleasure catcing up with you."
Adam turned and headed for the room. Maybe there was a nook that he over looked.
Gabi watched him leave with one eyebrow raised. She shook her head and opened her book.
Not giving the rather short conversation another thought, she began to read again.
